Orfeu emerged in the Specialty Coffee market in 2005, cultivating quality beans selected in the high mountains of the South of Minas at Sertãozinho Farm, a place with over 67 years of tradition in coffee crops. The roastery was planned and build on the farm itself to complete the cycle of production and deliver to clients a high-quality, very fresh product directly. The production facility is climatized and has cutting-edge equipment to ensure the highest quality in the end product during the roasting, packaging and shipping processes. Nowadays, Sertãozinho Farm is known for its over 67-year tradition in coffee crops. The properties are certified by the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and by the UTZ socio-environmental management system.

The oldest coffee crops are from 1948. The varieties grown are Yellow Bourbon, Icatu, Catuaí, Catucaí, Mundo Novo, Arara, Japy and Guará.

Rainha Farm
This farm has the largest fields of the Yellow Bourbon variety in Brazil. The coffees at Rainha Farm are famous for their sweetness and smoothness. The geographical conditions and excellent climate of the location make the property outstanding for the production of specialty coffees.

Laranjal Farm
The varieties grown are Yellow Bourbon, Icatu, Catuaí, Catucaí, Mundo Novo, Canário and Maragogipe. With steep relief, the property is favorable for the production of high-scoring coffees, that is, aromatic and exotic.

Thanks to the great concern and care for sustainability, Sertãozinho Farm has vast reserve areas, beyond legal requirements, and also plants around two thousand trees per year, preserving local vegetation.
In addition to this, the farms have international UTZ certification, which covers agricultural practices suitable for coffee production and the well-being of workers, including access to health care and education. It ensures responsible production and sustainable agriculture, which monitoring and management of processes and business in an efficient, effective manner, instruction and training of workers and traceability of the coffee on the farm.
The farms also have the Ecocert seal, one of the largest local certification companies for organic products in the world.
